We suggest: touring around San Telmo’s neighbourhood, (flea market (Sundays only) cafés, concerts...) Accommodation at Hotel de las Américas. DAY 14 – BUENOS AIRES – POSADAS – IGUAZUFlight to Posadas. Meet and bus trip from Posadas to Iguazu in the province of Misiones (you’ll see pine, tea, mate and citric plantations). Visit of San Ignacio’s monumental ancient Jesuit Missions ruins. We’ll continue to Iguazú. Upon arrival, tour The Falls on the Argentine side, lower circuit and The Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Helicopter flight over the Brazilian side for 7 minutes: Lunch during the trip. Accommodation at Sheraton Hotel (room with forest view) or Golf Hotel. DAY 15 – IGUAZUDiscovering the falls from the Brazilian side. Impressive landscape of more than 250 cascades that fall from 80m high in the heart of a rich and thick vegetation filled with orchids, butterflies and birds. Walk through the huge Itaipú Dam on the borders of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil (outside). Lunch at Puerto Canoas restaurant. Accommodation at Sheraton Hotel (room with forest view) or Golf Hotel. |
