DAY 10 – SALTA – CAFAYATE – SALTA

Tour to Cafayate, an oasis at 1600 m of height over sea level where you can find great shadowed patios filled with wine barrels surrounded by colorful mountains. Visit to a wine cellar. Lunch in Cafayate. Accommodation at Salta B Hotel.

DAY 11 – SALTA – JUJUY – HUMAHUACA – SALTA

Salta / Jujuy (1270 m) / Humahuaca (3050 m) / Salta. Touring the most northwestern area of Argentina, passing through Jujuy Cathedral (famous church of the XVIII century built by the indians, ancient city-hall in which the first argentine flag is kept and shown, then Purmamarca (church built out of cactus wood) and Humahuaca with its magnificent mountain routes. Throughout the tour you’ll see various Indian villages, colonial churches and Pucaras (Incas Fortresses).

DAY 12 – SALTA – BUENOS AIRES

Walking tour around Plaza de Armas and Salta’s Cathedral, vast and beautiful city of colonial style. Flight to Buenos Aires. (Free time in Salta or Buenos Aires depending on flight schedule). Lunch in Salta City. Accommodation at Hotel de las Américas.
