DAY 01 - Trelew / Península Valdés

Arrival at Trelew airport. Meet and transfer by a guide and coordinator to Faro Punta Delgada Hotel in Peninsula Valdes. This is the southernmost point of the Peninsula, Punta Delgada. We can watch the Sea Lions and Elephant Seals colonies. Faro Punta Delgada Hotel used to be the old Lighthouse (still used as such) . Accommodation at Faro Punta Delgada Hotel. Dinner included.

DAY 02 - Península Valdés

Full day tour to the Península Valdés, to enjoy the marine life. The tour crosses the Peninsula by the Ameghino Isthmus. Continue to Puerto Pirámides in front of Golfo Nuevo, you can board a vessel for 2hrs to approach the whales (Southern right whales). You may see these mammals with their breed in a most unforgettable show provided by nature. This’s an optional tour only from July to December. Going north we can watch the elephant seals colonies. Males watching after the females and fighting for them. At times there can also be orcas around the beach, looking for food. We continue to the penguin rookery located on the north side of the Península at Estancia La Ernestina. You’ll se over 30.000 penguins and you’ll be able to walk among the paths to watch these lively and graceful creatures. Return to Faro Punta Delgada Hotel Dinner.
