DAY 01 - Salta / Purmamarca

Meeting at Salta airport, city tour showing the main monuments: Cathedral Church, City Hall, San Francisco Church, San Bernardo Convent and San Bernardo Hill, handicraft market, San Lorenzo Summer Village. 4hrs. duration Moving to Purmamarca, located at the bottom of Cerro de los Siete Colores (Seven Colors hill), known by its colors due to the different layers of minerals. Accommodation at HOSTAL MANANTIAL DEL SILENCIO.

DAY 02 - Purmamarca / San Pedro de Atacama

Starting through Paso de Jama, around 630 km. Leaving from Purmamarca to Cuesta de Lipán , around 30km long. After crossing Abra de Potrerillos and the 4.170m. Over sea level landmark monument, an uneven path starts which at the end opens to the greatness of the Plains finding at last, Salinas Grandes (salt lakes), they could be described as a never-ending and white sea. On the horizon we can see Susques town with its indian ruins, earth-coloured homes and streets. We cross the international path at 4700m over sea level. Arrival at San Pedro de Atacama. Accommodation at HOSTERÍA SAN PEDRO. Buffet breakfast.
