As an additional to this tour, we will continue on a ten minute bus ride southwards to Puerto Alegre on the Frías Lake. Here we’ll embark again to sail on Frías Lake for fifteen minutes. On this ride we’ll have the first view of Mount Tronador. At Port Frías, passengers will have to go through Argentine Customs. We’ll then continue by bus through the exuberant vegetation of the Andes Range, crossing the Argentinean-Chilean border at Vicente Pérez Rosales Pass, and driving 29 km. till we arrive at Peulla. Passengers will have to go through Chilean Customs at this point. The tour continues on catamaran along Todos los Santos (All Saints) Lake, from where we can admire Puntiagudo Mt. and the impressive Osorno volcano. Upon arrival at Petrohué, we’ll get on the bus again. We’ll make a stop at the Petrohue Falls , and then, going round Lake Llanquihue, we’ll be arriving to Puerto Varas. Twenty minutes later will be getting to our final destination on this breathtaking lake-crossing, namely, Puerto Montt.
Two-day crossing: The circuit is the same as described above, except that one overnight at Peulla (Chile) is included.
